Patios, fencing, artificial grass and full garden makeovers for homes across Beeston, Chilwell and the rest of NG9.
Beeston keeps us busy. Between the Victorian terraces around the Rylands, the thirties semis off Bramcote Lane and the newer estates out towards Chilwell, there is a bit of everything here, and each type of garden asks for something different.
Most of our Beeston work is patios, fencing, artificial grass and driveways. Down by the Rylands the ground sits close to the Trent and holds water, so we get asked about boggy lawns and sinking slabs a lot. The fix is nearly always proper drainage and a decent sub-base before anything pretty goes on top, and we price for that from the start rather than finding it halfway through.
If you are not sure what you want yet, that is fine. We will come out, walk the garden with you and tell you straight what is worth doing and what is not. Quotes are free and itemised, and because we are only ten minutes away, popping back to sort a small detail is never a drama.

Three types of plot come up again and again here, and each one needs a different approach.

Long, narrow plots, often with no side access, so every barrow load comes through the house. Being close to the Trent, the ground holds water too. The usual answer is a compact patio done properly, artificial grass instead of a lawn that never drains, and a layout that does not waste a metre.

Decent-sized gardens that have usually had fifty years of odd jobs: cracked concrete paths, a shed base nobody remembers pouring, tired grass. These plots reward a proper re-level, a new patio and a real lawn, and they have room for borders that soften it all.

Developer turf over compacted subsoil, a blank rectangle and fences you can see straight over. We sort the drainage first, then build the garden: patio, play lawn, and screening so you are not sitting in view of six kitchen windows.

A bare, unused back garden turned into a low-maintenance space the family actually sit out in: artificial grass, sleeper beds, a sandstone patio and a new summerhouse.

All of it. The Rylands, the town centre side, up towards Beeston Fields, plus Chilwell, Attenborough, Toton and Bramcote next door. If you are anywhere in NG9 we can get to you without any fuss.
Normally within the week. Beeston is one of our closest areas, so a visit is easy to fit in around other jobs. You get the written, itemised price a day or two after we have measured up.
It depends what you are having done. A run of fencing is a few days of work, while a full back garden redesign is a different job altogether. Every quote is itemised so you can see exactly where the money goes, and there is no obligation either way.
Patios and artificial grass in the terraced gardens, where people want a small space they can use all year. Out towards Chilwell and Toton it is more driveways, fencing and bigger garden makeovers.
Yes. Gardens down by the Rylands and towards Attenborough sit on ground that holds water. Proper drainage, the right sub-base and sometimes a raised patio or artificial lawn will sort it. We will be honest about what will and will not work on your plot.
Fully insured, and yes, every job is guaranteed. A good share of our Beeston work comes from a neighbour seeing the van outside and knocking on to ask for a quote.
