About This Project
This garden needed to be hard-wearing and easy to look after, with the drainage sorted at the back of the house and a tidy boundary all the way round.
We laid a large porcelain patio straight off the back of the house on a fully prepared, compacted base. Along the edge runs a channel drain that takes surface water away from the house, so the patio stays dry and usable even through a wet Nottingham winter.
New featheredge fencing on concrete posts and gravel boards closes the garden in and adds privacy, and we finished the lawn with fresh turf. It needs very little looking after, and it drains the way it should now.
